Meet Your Teacher

  Meet Your Teacher!

Welcome:
I am so glad you are in my classroom this year. My name is Keri Cornwell. I have taught kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade in the past. I taught at Sedalia for 17 years. Then, last year I was the principal at Hickman County Elementary School. While I liked being a principal, I LOVE being a teacher and knew I wanted to teach again.  I am excited to begin this journey again with all of you!

About me:

I graduated from GCHS in 1992 and attended Murray State University. I have my bachelors, masters, and administrative degrees as well as my National Board Certification. I recently married my high school sweetheart, Jeremy. We have a blended family of 5 children. We live on a 52 acre farm close to Symsonia. We have two cats, Milo and Max, a horse named Bella and several cows.  And, we even just got a new Olde English Bulldogge puppy named Mia. I have signed up to run my first ½ marathon in December. I love being on the lake or the beach, gardening/canning and traveling. I am also a HUGE Murray State Racer basketball fan. And, I just recently became a Rodan and Fields Dermatologist skincare independent consultant.
